South China Tiger Breeding Research Base was established in Shaoguan, where tigers were bred under the seminatural condition. In this paper, many research were did on the South China tiger, such as rearing environment, cage design, nutrition of diet, disease control and prevention etc.. We designed and manufactured a multifunction channel, with which, much difficult was avoided in course of physical examination, weigh and treatment of diseases. Besides, it makes transferring without narcotizing the tigers become a reality. Practice shows that the South China tiger which were bred under the condition of seminatural are more health, more savagery, and get a better development than that breeding in cage. A couple of South China tiger (No. 373 female and No.387 male) which were introduced from Fujian Province have 3 times propagation during October 21, 2010 to November 2, 2011. Six cubs (2 cubs each time) were obtained and fire cubs survived. The reproduction rate is 100% and livability is 83.3%.
